1. Purpose

The Analytics Working Group (AWG) proposes the integration of Octav.fi into Inverse Finance’s analytics infrastructure. By leveraging their high-quality data through the API, we can directly connect Octav’s data to our existing analytics tool, Inverse Watch . This will allow the DAO to enhance financial tracking, reporting accuracy, and decision-making efficiency.

2. Why Octav.fi?

Octav.fi’s data quality have outperformed other providers (e.g. Debank, Zerion, etc.).

Key benefits include:

• Direct Data Access : Use Octav.fi’s pure data to fuel Inverse Watch , creating custom dashboards tailored to DAO needs.
• Improved Treasury Tracking : Granular visibility into DAO expenses, revenues, and historical trends.
• Streamlined Workflow : Consolidates data pipelines, eliminating inefficiencies in financial reporting and analytics.

3. Implementation Goals

• API Integration : Connect Octav.fi’s data feed (expenses and revenues) into Inverse Watch, aligning it with existing dashboards.
• Custom Treasury Analytics : Expand Inverse Watch to include Octav-powered metrics, such as inflow/outflow monitoring and funding trends.
• Enhanced Reporting : Provide real-time analytics for DAO decision-making, governance calls, and public reporting.

Timeline :

• Month 1 : API setup, mapping Octav data into Inverse Watch.
• Months 2-6 : Iterative dashboard improvements and integration of the data into regular weekly reporting.

4. Budget Request

The AWG will cover Octav.fi’s $3,440/year Pro license—which includes 5 addresses and 4 extras—under its current flexible expense budget. The API comes at no additional cost, ensuring this integration is cost-effective.

5. Conclusion

Integrating Octav.fi into Inverse Watch ensures Inverse Finance remains at the forefront of DAO financial transparency and operational efficiency. The API’s pure data access empowers the AWG to produce real-time, high-quality analytics while consolidating reporting tools into our custom-built Inverse Watch platform.

Should this proposal be successful the AWG will ensure future related cost will be integrated into the usual seasonal budget proposal.

• Current AWG allowance stands to 7,036 DOLA
• Requested allowance : 7,036 + 3,500 = 10,536 DOLA
